These will get rusty

I’ve only had these for a few months and they started rusting (mostly around the hinges). Disappointing because I did like them before that.

You received these in excellent condition five months ago. Your photo shows an excessive number of scratches and mechanical damage to the affected area. These earrings were badly mistreated. Stainless steel is highly resistant to oxidation, but scratches or other mechanical damage to the surface of stainless steel can lead to rust formation. Whatever metal (tool?) caused this damage to the finish may have contaminated it with iron or carbon steel particles. Trace particles from iron or carbon steel will rust stainless steel surfaces. Any additional exposure to damaging chemicals, saline, grease, moisture, or heat could also accelerate corrosion.

Stainless Small Hinged Hoop Earrings

These are comfy to wear. Very lightweight. They slightly irritate my ears but that is not their fault. For anyone who isn't highly sensitive to anything other than titanium and gold they're great. The edge of the wearable post was a little scratchier than I'd like to feel, thus the reduced stars. Not a deal breaker though. They clasp tightly, no worries about them coming apart at all. I would recommend.

Stainless steel earrings

I love these earrings and this shop. I have bought three pairs of these earrings and wear them all in my lobes, they are the perfect size and are easy to open/close. Definitely recommend!

We accept returns and exchanges for any reason so long as it remains heat sealed in the original packaging. All jewelry is individually packaged in clear heat sealed bags that allow for a good visual inspection of size and color. Before opening the bags, please take a good look at your jewelry and make sure it meets up with your expectations. Your jewelry is guaranteed to be delivered undamaged and free of manufacturer defects. Broken, missing or incorrect items must be reported within seven days of delivery. Items can be exchanged or returned for refund within thirty days of delivery confirmation, but only if the original heat-sealed bags remain unopened. We do not allow returns for custom anodized titanium jewelry or specially marked clearance items. Original shipping charges will not be reimbursed, but replacements for any defective or broken merchandise are always shipped free. Refunds are issued to the original payment account and usually takes a few days for the credit to post.
