Five Opal Septum Clicker

Let me tell you, not only is the Opal Septum ring I purchased more beautiful in person, but the customer service I received when I called their company went above and beyond fantastic! I had made an order and then questioned my color decision. Not only did they provide IRL photos to assist in making sure my selection was perfect, but were sincerely kind and helpful. I had to re order this and I was so thankful it was still in stock . It is very nice and comfortable. I only put the title like that because I lost it swimming even though the clicker mechanism is VERY STURDY

I really love both pieces I bought but the white opal clicker is extremely hard to open and close. I wasn’t sure if I could get it open at first but finally using tools I got it open and loosened it so now it’s perfect.

I wanted to love this, I really did. My nostril studs are titanium, bezel set, black opals, so I've been on the search for a matching septum clicker and I thought I'd found it with this. This ticked all the boxes: black opal, bezels instead of prongs, silver metal vs gold tone.
Unfortunately (like others have said) it's incredibly hard to open and close. My ring opening pliers helped me open it up, but I had to reach for my flat nose pliers as well to get it closed again. That's too much effort when I have to remove it for work. If you get claustrophobic, frustrated, or panicked easily, truly beware.
On top of being difficult to work with, the "black opal" option looks more like a dark green; yes, black opal tends to be primarily a darker green/blue, but there's no beautiful streaks of red or other colors to add the dimension of black opal. This has a really flat color, and being in such close proximity to my nostril studs, it just looks bland.

It's a very pretty piece, however when I received it, it was extremely difficult to open and close. I had to widen it with pliers but it wasn't enough to be able to take it out easily. It was a lot of pain to put in and take out (not to mention it was uncomfortable to wear but it may be cause I wasn't used to it) that unfortunately is not worth to me.
