Our piercing discs are made from clear medical grade silicone (autoclave safe). The 14 gauge center hole will fit barbells from 18g up to 12g. You'll get a total of six piercing discs. The original discs have a 1/4" outer diameter (6.5mm), but we now have a smaller 3/16" diameter (4.8mm) disc! We recommend the smaller disc for initial piercings or smaller bumps that are just starting to develop.
The soft medical grade silicone disc will protect your new piercings and prevent sinking or irritation from jewelry ends. Your older piercings can also benefit if you've developed a piercing bump. Wearing the disc for 15-30 days should produce a noticeable improvement. Jewelry should allow just enough room for the disc to touch your piercing without pulling tightly against it.
